WND has worked with traffic engineers and street safety planners to develop plans for making Woodbridge streets safer through traffic calming and pedestrian improvements. Update March 2021: After significant resident advocacy, the Dept of Public Works announced that Woodbridge will receive 22 speed “humps” along Commonwealth, Avery, Putnam, Alexandrine, Aretha, and Wabash this summer. See a complete list of District 6 speed humps here.
